Supporting you to reconnect with your right to pleasure

Talking about our desires, sex, intimacy, pleasure, sexuality and our bodies can feel scary, anxiety or shame inducing, overwhelming or exhausting. We live within sociopolitical systems that are sex-negative, oppressive and disembodied, and our right to pleasure and safety is denied. These same systems teach individuals they are defective if their experience is outside the white-cis-hetero non-disabled norm and their problem to solve in isolation. So, it makes sense if you’re feeling grief, anger, rage, loneliness, shame or fear about what you’ve experienced, what you want or your who you are.

It takes immense courage to reach out, so we’re glad you’re here. When you feel ready to talk and want to expand your curiosity and awareness about what’s going on for you and create more choice, tap the button below to book your initial session.

Hey I’m Kass

MSexol, BPsych(Hons)

I’m Kassandra Mourikis. My pronouns are she/her. I’m a neurodivergent sexologist and embodied counsellor based in Naarm (Melbourne) offering in-person support in Hawthorn and online. I’m the creator of Pleasure Centred Sexology and work collectively with an amazing team.

Sessions with me are co-created, person-centred, accessible, affirming and as safe as I can make them. I work from a pleasure-centred framework and I value consent, anti-oppressive, disability-justice and trauma-informed practice. My work recognises systems of oppression at the core of sexual, social, psychological, emotional, relational and political challenges.

I support people to centre their pleasure and their lived experience by working somatically - through developing skills to intentionally place awareness into different aspects of their mind-body, with curiosity so that more choice and new perspectives can emerge. I have supported hundreds of individuals & couples to develop curiosity, to grow in their ability to be present, to feel more, to access pleasure, to recognise their wants and limits, to unlearn sociocultural and political narratives that no longer serve them and relearn ones that do.

As a sexologist and embodiment practitioner, I endeavour to hold space with care and congruence, be a witness to your full experience, invite you to draw on and develop your knowledge, resources, somatic practices, set intentions and collaboratively support you on your journey of change.
