Imagine having pleasurable, embodied and shame-free sex, if and when you want to, with the support of experienced sex therapists in Melbourne

Sexology, somatic sex therapy and sex counselling for individuals and relationships in Hawthorn, Melbourne/Naarm and online.

We are a somatic sex therapy centre that supports people to reconnect with themselves, their pleasure and their desires for an enriching and connected life.

Talking about sex, what you want, your limits, intimacy, pleasure, sexuality and your body might feel challenging, exhausting or overwhelming. We’re all impacted by the societies we live in that are sex-negative and oppressive; that lead us to become disembodied and disconnected from ourselves or that get in the way of pleasure, a feeling of safety, connection and agency. These same societies and systems deprive people of accurate and inclusive sexual education, then shift that responsibility to individuals to solve the problems this creates on their own, in isolation.

So, it makes sense if you’re feeling lost or confused when it comes to sex and relationships and looking for support to better understand yourself, feel more and have greater choice.

We’re an inclusive and progressive sex therapy and intimacy counselling service and we’ve supported countless individuals and those in relationships to find more choice and awareness in their minds, bodies and relationships.

  • We offer talk therapy and somatic therapy in person, online or by phone

  • Our sexologists and sex coach’s approach to sex therapy and sex coaching can support you to deepen intimacy and connection that feels helpful for your unique experience

  • Non-pathologising

We take a non medical, non treatment based approach to care. We're not here to diagnose you with a disorder. We take a systems perspective and recognise that often sexual concerns arise in response to social ideas of the normal/abnormal binary and other types of oppression. With care, accurate education and ongoing support, you can learn skills, build awareness and have more choice to navigate sexual concerns in a different way. You are not broken so you don’t need to be fixed.

  • Centering Pleasure

We focus on supporting you to better understand what kind of relationship you want with pleasure, what's in the way of that and what you can do to experience more (if you want to). We recognise that pleasure is central to physical, mental, emotional, spiritual and interpersonal wellbeing yet recognise the pleasure disparity and the ways that pleasure is political.

  • Inclusive lens

We are shame and judgement free in our approach. We go to the core of the issue and try to understand the intersecting factors contributing to the reasons you're seeking support. We are affirming to LGBTQIA+, sex workers, disabled and neurodivergent people, people in larger bodies and fat folks, Aboriginal, Black and Brown people. We work with all types of relationships.

  • Intentional, purposeful and highly skilled sex counsellor Melbourne

Our work is focused and we prioritise your goals. Sometimes, sessions will unfold in non linear ways. This means while you might be here for sex or relationships, you’re free to talk about interconnected issues like work, family & big decisions. We're also highly skilled practitioners, engaging in regular professional development and frequent supervision to keep us accountable and constantly growing in our expertise.
